Bah, I spent ages making my car shiny the other day, and then early this morning it drizzled a bit and now its covered in that sand crap :(
You cant win either way, even in the height of summer the trees and insects splat crud all over your clean car.
tis better than the bird sh*t i get on mine, not that mines worth polishing :D
Washed mine last year, might be time to touch it up with a rubber spatula. Interior gets cleaned when rear view becomes obstructed.
I watched a neighbour a few doors away taking his 5 series wheels completely off to clean them the other day - I wonder if I could get away with spraying mine brake dust grey...

I used to do that :D minilights were a pita to clean.
there was an aquaintance i knew in old hill that had a Escort turbo mk1
He used to litterally strip his car to bits to clean it. he never even drove it either.
I had a mk Xr2 that was washed every other day :D
How things change as you get older. Only wash the car now when its a different colour to what it normally is or the police ask me to clean the number plate
I clean mine whenever it starts being a brown car, instead of a black one :D
Ive completely vacced the interior & mats once so far, since March.
My brother actually managed to wash his a couple of weeks ago, the second time since he bought the thing.
Its up for MOT and Tax next month IIRC...
I hate the rain - no traction!
