It was an import with AC, although I never had it regassed.

Im getting used to the car now, its bloody dangerous in the wet though and needs new tyres. I have to keep reminding myself Im not in the 5 and cant thread it through a roundabout at 40mph, but even at slow speeds to wheels spin with little power. The ride is softer at least. My suspicions of French build quality have been confirmed though - all the handles inside are coming away from the panels.

Apparently the bloke that bought the MX-5 off me said in his feedback that he "had the drive of his life" on the way home. Bastard.

You should have had one last long drive to Scotland...
