Trying to find out how much my truck is worth - they are quite rare to compare against others, so was wondering if anyone
know for some decent valuation sites.

Its an L200 2.8TDi Strada Automatic - just under 50k on the clock - its a grey import sold by Mitsubishi & not a private import.
Which is what makes it difficult

04 twin cab, leather interior, etc.
its the same as this http://www.buyyourcar.co.uk/used-car/mitsubishi/l200/awb_imperialcars_12369660.aspx#
except I have the canopy at the back, instead of a pickup cover...

Mine is newer & has less mileage though - but I think that advert is overpriced (unless they have gone up in value due its cheap road tax £220 a year)

Next i would usually ask for Post Code, because it can make a substantial difference to the price. But, you can do the legwork yourself:

http://www.ebay.co.uk/
http://www.gumtree.com/
http://www.pistonheads.com/

You can also look at Autotrader but their prices are over inflated, quite possibly they advise their customers that because of the extortionate listing fees.

The easiest way to value an import is to find the UK equivalent specification and then search by Year/Plate around those sites for that. Ebay is the best however because of the "Completed Listings" Option, having the best scope as buyers all over the UK can bid and will give you the most update price, ofc only look for the Green/Sold items.

I've noticed a trend recently that a fair whack of vehicles being sold have been priced way above their book prices, i notice a lot of these on Ebay for weeks sometimes months, so be careful not to overprice but at the sametime remember you can always drop the price later.

A good idea as well is to contact Webuyanycar or similar website and get a price from them, then you will know the lower limit price, you can also take it round a few garages and see what they offer you on trade in, this is also a good way to gauge its value and all you need to do is shave a bit off to sell as they always give a good trade in price to entice you to buy a newer car.

Ive already tried the above... hence I asked for valuation sites like parkers, etc. The truck are few & far between to get accurate pricing..
I paid £6250 a year ago,
im not selling it, im transferring it to my company, but need an accurate value so I can put it down as a director
loan & the business owe me the money in the future. I was hoping someone had access to them valuation books.
I'll just value it for £6500 I think.

pointless contacting webuyanycar cos they will at most give below bottom book, while my vehicle is in nr mint condition.
1 little dent on the front & one on the rear bumper, low millage & Offroad chunky tyres. Also, it was imported by Mitsubishi
& modified by them for the UK market - the speedo is in MPH, etc. It was to fill the gap between them launching the Animal or
Warrior or whatever its compared to - except the UK model proper has a 2.5l engine.

I made a thread with links in it including Parkers, the Glass's guide is not much different in prices on comparison, it just gets updated more often and thus they sell it as a subscription for much more than Parkers costs.

Webuyanycar will give the lowest valuation as i stated above, a garage will offer a high value price as i stated above, and the use of Parkers/Ebay/etc will give you more accurate pricing between the two, so its not entirely pointless.

04 L200 £4500 with 75k

04 L200 £4999 - Better looking with 50k

They are both the 2.5 models..... the 2.8 are rare & looking on ebay there isnt enough sales to get an accurate pricing.
3x on there, one didnt sell (guessing it was pulled early) another for 6,200 & a 3rd for just under £8k!!!

I guess 6.5k is fair price
