I have seen a house brick trapped between the back two wheels of a tuck before.  Needless to say I backed off a bit in-case it flew out.

LMAO, worst issue Ive had in the past year with the VW is a nail in a tire that was also unbalanced. Local Hindu tire techs fixed both issues for $10, Thatll need an internal patch for sure--and if enough threads are damaged, may not be repairable.

Serious

I suspect its not repairable anyway. Retreading is allowed in the UK, but they have to select the tyres carefully. anything like that probably isnt going to be worth bothering with I certainly wouldnt put my life on it at 70mph.

Needs a new tyre.

Binary Shadow

yeah its Y or Z rated, to pass an MOT (or my inspection) itd have to last up to 160mph and a repair just isnt

Pete

Ouch

Anything over 3mm in diameter is a new tyre, says the Internet.
I know sh*ts bad right now with all that starving bullsh*t and the dust storms and we are running out of french fries and burrito coverings.

Depends really on what the cords look like. Those mushroom shaped patch-plugs can often work wonders. ;)
