A guy on Subaruforesters makes and sells gearknobs occasionally and this is his planned design for this year. He does them in aluminium and black delrin..
Im thinking black Delrin plus fill those grooves up with some O rings would make it almost sexual..
Stick a bullet vibrator in there and maximum pleasure for sir and madam ;) :D

Not too sure id get much pleasure from moving that one back and fore tbh.
No-ones made a vibrating gear knob have they?
It looks nice, but I dont think itd looks "at home" in your car.
Thats not my one mate - its a pic of the prototype he has made to see if any interest..
Id get a black one I think :)
Looks nice enough but would look even better with black resin or something to fill in the gaps IMO.
It needs to be clear plastic with beads inside and then have a little finger bit on it and a remote control. Plus the batteries should be easy to replace and the buzzing noise needs to be quiet and discreet.
I dont like it, too shiny. Black+silver+chrome= no.
If it had neon strip around the grooves, but youd have to take the string inside the knob to do that as on the out side itd look a mess.
Ordered a black Delrin one with Rubber O rings - heres a pic of an ally one.. :)

Worth polishing and lacquering or varnishing IMO :)
Would prefer the rings to be shaped into the metal so its more spherical too.
Thats a great idea..gloss black would look superb...
I shall ask :)
Nice one :)
Had a similar to this in my 58 chevy panelwagon, a crystal knob :)

Not convinced itd suit the forester interior, get pics when its on.
Jaimz
tbh subaru interiors are a jumbled affair. they dont really inspire calmness.

Is that related to the knob usually found on the drivers seat? :heehaw:
Sorry, it was far too tempting :whoops:

Heres the interior now

but Ive ordered a Forester Sti black centre console like this one from Japan which is a black soft rubberised affair and should look better with the knob..Ive got the Sti steering wheel as well which Im gonna try and put on this weekend..
The black does look nicer.
So youre spending a fortune on STi parts when you could have just gone and bought an STi ?!

A Forester Sti was 10 grand more..Ive probably spent about 5k and mine is better specced than an FSTi now..
Black with O rings - decided Im getting an alu one and get it anodized :)
