My passenger side headlight dont work, the HID ballast has gone.

As its a factory fitted HID ballast its a unit that cost in the region of £150+ to get an original.

Ive instead bought an aftermarket ballast.  The problem is the power input plug(on the left in the image) on the ballast is different to the car plug.  So I thought Id be clever and get the right type of plug(The red and yellow plug on the right) and create an adapter to go between my car and the ballast.

So I bought what I thought was the right one, but its too small.  Anyone know what type of connector it is I need?

Binary Shadow

just hack the car side plug off and solder the one that came with the ballast onto the loom, job done

Thats the problem, I cant, no plug came with the ballast to plug into the ballast.  Thus the reason Im trying to find a connector that will plug into the ballast.

Finally got it sorted, an in car electronics/entertainment company had some of the plugs I needed.

Does it look neat?

I also refurbed the light units to get rid of the peeling lacquer and the general cloudy look.  The one on the left is after the sanding/rubbing/t-cut, it was worse than the one on the right which was just about to get done.  Really my lights werent all that bad, but figured I might as well do it and its definitely been worth it.  Theyre just that bit more clearer.
