Multiplay I had with Mallrat and a few others was a great blast.  Its just a shame I could hear everyone but no one could hear me

Yeah, the comms issues were annoying. Most of us could hear each other but there was the odd one or two that just cut out completely.

The multiplayer was fun though and plays very nicely.

Reckon if i make a public complaint to the people behind my uni residential network i could get them to make xbox live accessible.

Have you actually asked them? It would be a simple thing to open the ports that Live needed and most of the tech guys i know that work at Unis dont lock everything down on perpose, more of it causes them less problems if they do it. Find out what ports Live use and get hold of them asking if it would be possible.

What happens if you do the test live connection?

Problem being that i would have to connect just that device to the network and not my pc as well.

The inserv people are a little ott and paranoid, you can only have one device connected to the network or it cuts you off. Even worse you cant have a device connected to a second network connection on your pc even if it has no reslan network access. That also cuts you off from the network.

All mac addresses have to be logged with reslan before you can access the net, so they would need the 360 mac addy and open the ports, and i would have to cut myself off from the rest of the web.

That is how annoying they are.

Tried using internet connection sharing through your PC? the network should of see your computer connected.

As i said, if you even connect something using a second device, using ics or not, it cuts you from the net, dont know how but it does

yeah with the mac address filter that probably wouldnt be difficult to do - seem very anal though jesus!!  Not sure how youll get around that.

Most annoying as i have a mce pc and want to share media with my 360. I cant even do that.

Fecking General Raam on Hardcore SP is pretty much impossible :s I have spent a good hour giving him a dose of torque bow and long shot but still he kills me :/

Everyone I have spoken to from my Friends List who has killed him on HC has done it in Co-Op. So Im starting to wonder if I am going to have to call in some support :/

im on if you need a hand, finally did him single handed on hardcore more outta luck and timing than anything else.

Everytime I manage to get on the Chain gun the Krill appear above and take me down

Well had my 1st taste of GOW yesterday at a mates place... wasnt bad but the running in straight lines and the stupid cover thing peed me off within seconds, dont know if ill buy it or not yet, need to mull it over

Well if you dont like the cover thing then i wouldnt recommend getting it, as the cover thing is what you will be doing for most of the game
