Looks quite nice to me at the price point, would replace my current broken 19" CRT thing quite well I think.

Anything this is vastly missing in terms of inputs/outputs/features etc?

Are there any sensible alternatives at the price point?

The only thing really id like to see higher on that is the brightness rating:

I LOVE a lush backlight.

Seems like a good deal to me though.

Im currently using a Dell 2405 FPW (24" widescreen) and ive got a G5 with an apple 23" and all I can say is once you go widescreen you will NEVER go back.

47" 1020p is a games killer option

I did go back from widescreen to my 21" Iiyama, didnt regret that but might with this monster.

A 22" is good enough for a monitor, unles you are going to be moving or cant afford separates its a good option. I would keep the light down a bit while you are using it though.
