300, is about the defense of sparta,

real action movie, with epic fightscenes which would knock troy and gladiator into touch. basically 300 spartans verses 1 million chineese people.

Im certainly going to see it, I think itll be aesthetically stunning. Incidentally its not supposed to be historically accurate in the slightest, its based on the Frank Miller comic of the same name which in itself is only very loosely based on real life events. Its a thing of visual beauty, not a war epic.

300 FTW, looks like it will be an awesome visual feast (as was Sin City)

TBH its THE FILM of the year Ive been waiting for and its only march!

Yesterday was the release of the film in the states and at the same time they released the R-Rated trailer and it just makes me want to see it more!!

Yes but it also appears to have some of the worst dialogue ever and promises to be a film devoid of any plot.

One of my friends has been salivating over this for a number of months, I think If I dont drive him to the earliest local screening he may send 300 spartans after me........ :D
