Righto, have a mate selling a 360 Premium with two wireless controllers and no games.  Basically a bare package.  He has updated firmware and as a result its been banned from xbox live.  No real intention of mine to go on Live but obviously if it has stuffed the console up for future connections, would depreciate?

Two questions.

1.  How much is it worth?  how much should I offer?
2.  Is the firmware flash reversable?

Your not bothered about live, then you have gained the advantage of playing silver top discs (well verbatim topped).

Id prefer to 200+ games I have than live.

but live is ace if you have friends.

I bought another, and...

When i first got my 360, launch day, i had 2 games. I played these 24/7... I loved my console, I loved my games.

The firmware became available, and i duly flashed. I got game after game after game. The console lost its appeal and every game I had didnt grab me like they originally did. I had that many games to choose from I couldnt make up my mind, so rarely played it.

Ive since bought another (last week) and spent hours on NHL and on Live... and Ive regained some of my enjoyment.

similar boat to vini, got 70+ games for my flashed box, and halo 3, gears, forza 2 and rainbow 6 for my live box.
