anyone have one / used one ?

I've always fancied getting one....

I thought the idea was, once you had one, you could practically print another... making them really cheap...

but I can't find one for less than £1k 
(apart from tiny ones)

I was happy to spend a few hundred quid on one £1k+ is a bit daft for something to piss about on...

Look on ebay, i looked into before & you can usually find 1/2 built machines. Some ites have a pay it forward scheme where a person makes parts for the next poster on a list. I didnt bother because the finished quality was poor imo & the plastics raw material quite expensive.
