Worth a laugh -

I was wondering why AOE3 was stuttering every now and then..

It seems to hit ~135c and then throttle back for 30 seconds or so. Dunno how accurate that reading is but its burn-ya-fingers hot.
I know sh*ts bad right now with all that starving bullsh*t and the dust storms and we are running out of french fries and burrito coverings.

Serious

Still pretty toasty, shouldnt be that hot IMO. First action should be to try cleaning the HSF.

White Giant

I had a 6600GT, got mental temps. Replaced the HSF with an aftermarket solution, sorted it nicely. Try checking around for a new HSF.

that thing was awesome compared to one running a standard HSF.

thermal compound might help.
