Title: 7dayshop USB 802.11g wireless adapters
Post by: Serious on August 15, 2006, 01:35:09 AM
Just got a pair of these for Ã,£9.99 each, as its from the channel islands theyre VAT free. Delivered this morning by the postie through the letter box so a good lie in and no need for time off work for those who do that sort of thing.

As with most unknown to XP USB stuff you install the driver from the CD and then plug the thing in. At first it wouldnt work as windaz kept dropping the connection but a restart cured that problem, had to restart again when I switched the Mac filtering back on too. Seems they dont like any changes to the router without this.

Otherwise they just work, only tried ranges internal to the house as its plugged into my main compy. Divice is smaller than many memory keys which supprised me.

Post is about Ã,£4 but still cheaper than anywhere else. I usually end up buying quite a bit of stuff from them at the same time which spreads postage costs anyway.
