Read on sites like THG and Hardforums that many people are going for single rail solutions
like the Corsair VX PSUs, but other people saying that multi rail psus are fine, and seeing
as though the multi rail psus still have 1 or 2 6 pin pcie power connectors on them surely
they must be capable to run a single 8800GT.

Ive got two multi rail ones, providing it can provide enough power in the voltages your components need then it will be fine.
