Title: £80 graphics card
Post by: brun on December 03, 2006, 16:34:42 PM
what should i get for that amount of cash

should i get a radeon or geforce ?

i want to be able to play ghost recon which requires a geforce 6/7 or radeon 9800 or better

my processor is only a Sempron 2600+ and it says you need a P4 2Ghz or better so is my Sempron around about ok ?......

if its not, can i compensate a little by buying a better graphics card ?

also which is better, a 256Mb 1650 Radeon or a 512Mb 1600 ??....as they seem to be very similar in price

X700 : http://www.scan.co.uk/Products/ProductInfo.asp?WebProductID=239685

7600GS

I would be more inclined to go for the 7600 though.

I would say no.  the 7600 is the mid-range offering, the 7300 is the lower end offering.  Likelyhood is the absolute top of the range 7300 isnt even as good as the bottom of the range 7600.
