I was one of the few jedi when the corvette went live (they were still relatively few and far between) so I used to do solo runs through that and sell AV-21 schems and powerplants for a small fortune.

You seem to be lucky with a stable one, most servers just had a bug fest, Every time I went in with a group 5 driods were at the start in seconds blasting you with blasts from all floors

Just Showed this thread to my nephew and we had a really good reminisce about it, guess he has a better memory of it than me as there was loads of great stuff I had forgotten about  hehe.

I had totally forgotten that we used to make quite a bit of money in the game by selling credits on Ebay, when the game was still really popular

We earned millions from farming Nightsister Elder's, took us about 4 mins to take one down with 3 speed capped Rifleman using concealed shot hehe.

 The best loot (and about the easiest) we ever got was one morning after server restart, we had been drinking and playing SWG all night it was about 5 or 6 in the morning at this point, we were going to kill one more Elder before going to bed.
 We happened to pass the entrance to the Nightsister cave near the stronghold, stood at the entrance was the really hard named Nightsister from inside the cave with next to no health!!!
Guess a group tried to kill her but they wiped and some of them must have decided to run for it and dragged her to the entrance before being killed, we couldn't remember her name, but she had loads of adds that hit pretty hard.

 So we killed her and I ran in to draw the adds away and my nephew looted.
Can't remember what the loot was, but it was used in vibro knucklers for TKA's and were by far the best ever seen on the server! we sold them for 19 million each and 8 dropped lol

We also had a lot of fun when they turned up the spawn rate on Krayt dragon's

We both agreed for about 6 months that SWG was the most fun either of us ever had in any MMO, but it needed more content, between myself my nephew and his GF we were paying for 8 accounts lol and I know lots of other people who had more than 1 account, so it couldn't have been money that was stopping them getting a decent team together to work on improving the game

One last thing I remember on one of my accounts (cant remember if it was Jedi or the new account after CU)
was the Live event - One of the cities on tantooine got over-run with Tusken Raiders.
After it had all completed, I got a Live Event medal in my Character Bio

When ever you hear people talk about it and what they loved it is all about the core engine elements or the fact that it was star wars and the people and what the people did in the and to the game / server.


I really really hope still for the KOTOR MMO, it has sooo much potential and it will be star wars and make sense to have jedi and sith about.

I too hope a KOTOR MMO does make an appearence and do the Starwars title justice, however i fear i will never have the time these days to play it myself.

adam2975 is that the nice car that was on top gear that Jeremy liked that I thought was cool also

I think he did test drive the smart roadster yes and wasnt impressed by the flappy paddle gearbox, the one i remember though is when Hampster tested the prototype brabus roadster with two of the V3 engines bolted together.
