Title: anyone got an electronic equivelents book?
Post by: Beaker on September 16, 2006, 12:36:26 PM
Ive got a 19" TFT Screen here, and the power supply has blown a single component on it.

THe component that has blown is an SR-5 Silicon Rectifier.  Now i have Eq books, but mine are old and not up-to-date enough.  This component is a Lead Film reficifier, and they have stopped making them because the lead is "dangerous".

So an SR-5.  I _think_ and SR-500 is the new one, but i want to make sure before i order one.

Book lists SR-500 as a "2.85 TO 12 VOLT FIXED POSITIVE LOCAL VOLTAGE REGULATOR" but cant see a SR-5 :S
