are all games right now sh*t?

all weve had in this forum is bloody warcraft for weeks!!! are all other current games sucky? are we in the middle of that post xmas sh*t games time?

Personally Im looking forward to spending an hour or two on bioshock tonight, cos i dont play as heavily as you lot and im still working my way through it. but it cant be the only good game out right now?

Im playing frets on fire and San Andreas lately. I got a ps2 but I havent even opened the games yet.

Im not playing much at the moment, only time Im logging onto wow is every other raid night to keep guildies happy and thats about it.

Ive been tempted to go pick out some of my old point and click games as Ive fancied a good adventure/story game but replaying old ones you remember isnt as fun and I cant think of any newer ones worth getting

When youre playing WoW flat out little else can compare.

Personally Im quite happy with Guitar Hero 3 + Mario Galaxy at the moment.

New games dont last... you play it and finish it in a weekend if not a day.

Only games that seem to have lasting appeal are the oldie rpgs and mmorpgs

Games just arent made to last, masses spent on graphics, nothing spent of gameplay.

been playing Homeworld 1/2 and Civilization 4 alot recently, no new games that im interested in though.

would love to get into WoW but I spend too much time on the PC already, ill end up lossing my job or somthing.

Old games are still the best IMO. the UT1 server is running pretty well, it gets some use, not heavy but its being used.

On my desk Ive got stacked up Supreme Commander: FA, Medieval 2, World In Conflict, UT3.

There have been plenty of good games the last year and more to come but I will agree with that not that many games these days have long appeal to play over and over.

I feel like playing HL1 tbh.

Cant beat WOW. A few years ago when my friend started playing it I thought it looked crap, and would never play it! Then just before xmas I though Id download it........and im hooked. Really really pisses the G/F off as I play it so much now. But, I need to get to level 70 soon!! Im already 7 levels ahead of my mate who started years ago.....although, he did stop for a long time, he hasnt literally been playing none stop for 2 years!
