How gay is that, loads of ex free things not being free anymore, is the term freeware truly dieing now or something, really sucks since this was a good one.

So what other free decent virus checkers which dont hog resources are out there?

Its still free, its the current version 7.1 or something is expiring cause theres a new version 7.5 which is still free.  Its just a required updated thats all, so update it and you should be fine.

Yeah, and it wont come down on auto updates so you need to go and download it. Its still free though.

Avast is free providing you register your email address.

Inquirer said it was going free, did not know it was just a version needed to get updated on.

I updated to the new 7.5 a few days ago and it still auto updates

edit: just read it again and think you mean 7.5 dont download with auto updates, I first thought you ment 7.5 doesnt auto update
