Anyone seen this along with the others?

I have seen them all now as I went to see Saw 4 last night as cinema.

I am slightly confused about how the main bad guy was cut open right at start which then found the tape player to start the game off again yet the guy was also in the room at the end on the bed where he was left after Saw 3??

If they found his body in that room surely they would of found that other guy who ended up being shot by the FBI.

Anyone spiring some light onto it for me ?
