Got a pleasant surprise email the other day.  Engelbert humperdinck and company are in the country!

Going down to Surrey tomorrow to meet up with Lacey and the band.  Seeing the big man tomorrow night.

Eng is even going to do a get well soon card and sign a photo for my nana whos currently in hospital with a broken leg

That fiesty devils still around then? I saw Tom Jones for a larf once, and it ended up being a phenomenal concert. :mrgreen:

Hey Im back!

Had an awesome time, went out for lunch with Lacey and her friend.

Went to the show, went back stage afterwards, went in to Engs dressing room and met him and his wife and wished them both a Merry Christmas.  He signed the get well card for my nana too

After that went back to the hotel room and chilled out with the band, had a few drinks, met his son Brad again.

Such a shame didnt get more time to "hang" with the band.

Theres a load of ladies out there who would have given access to the contents of their knickers to be in your position, but most of them would be at least old enough to be your mum

Ahh, there was a photo of me, Lacey and Kerrie from the hotel room, Ill post as soon as she sends it to me.

So how did you go about meeting up with him? There is obviously some prior story that I have missed!!

Lacey, one of his backing singers, I met in a laundrette last year.
