Two old school m8s have been in a band for sometime now and they have finally signed a 4 album record deal. First band from Inverness to ever sign a major record deal!

for lazy people like me
Pretty good but unless they are really successful the record label is likely to take them to the cleaners. The contracts are usually extremely biased against performers.
Anyone else have a listen?
Hey thats pretty good. Im impressed.
like it! :!:
Going up to Manchester on the 29th October to see them, looking forward to that. Just waiting for Colin(Lead singer/guitarist) to confirm the time they are playing.

where are they playing?
"In The City"
I like them, the songs are radio ready. :D More of a UK sound, so dont know if theyd make it over here right now. American radio can be so fickle. Though if the current Killers craze is any indication of popular taste...who knows?
They should come here to *ville and record in a proper studio. :P
Only thing I dont really care for much is the emo vocals. Not bad at all when they go a bit Kinks with the harmonies, but when it gets all whispery and sensitive like in the first song... :gag:
Otherwise nice to hear a fleshed out band with a bit of orchestration thats been lacking in recent years.

Which venue though.
In The City is a festival in Manchester spanning many venues over a few days. I may even pop along too if you can give us venue details and time (as some gigs will be all-dayers).

LOL, well shows how much I know.
Colin is going to let me know more details when he knows.
