I no longer really care about the forums to be honest. I just find the "0h n0es, repost!" culture entertaining, and will make fun of it whenever I see it. It just happens that you do it more than others. It is also the sad case that it happens such an amount that often they slip by my radar and I dont notice them as Ive gotten used to them.

Most people couldnt care less whether theres an existing thread. If they cant be bothered to search for past threads on the same topic, they certainly wont be bothered by the fact that something on the subject was posted 24+ hours ago. If its not remained near the top of the board, obviously the discussion is dying anyway so theres no need to bring that old one back, imo. At the end of the day repost posts does nothing for the respect of the poster, just the opposite really...
