No spoilers yet but the little previews are out there on the web already but, Can not weight for the new season.
The last episode was a little dull till right at the end when we find out 4 of the final 5 (president cant be becuase of the cancer? is it starbuck? (last one of the five)) The chiefs baby is then another half Cylon child as well as Hara.
Cant wait to find out what initially happens with the Cylon fleet and then the conclusion of the whole Show.

The spin off series will also be on the go and come some time this year called Caprica.
I first thought this would be a load of crap but as more information has come about it seems really good.
Off my head as I type it is about the Adama Family and some other family who are like the two great houses of the colonies and their rivalry and the creation of the Cylons and I am sure the eventual first war which will be kind of cool.

Hmm. Those links appear to be very out of date. The last I heard Caprica was only going to be picked up as a two hour pilot, and they were only going to commission the series based on high ratings.

Battlestar and any other new series always have a pilot and the initial Definite of the pilot and the season contracts pencilled in and plans for them made.

I cant wait for this. Starts friday. Just one more day !

What, other than 19th March 08, just over two weeks old, as opposed to the two links you posted from April and October 2006? Im afraid I cant find any posted in the last fortnight, no, but neither can I find any press releases, updated Battlestar Wiki, anything at all even semi-recently to mention that the entire series has been given the green light.

It appears its been stuck in development hell, first they said yes, then they said no, now they said you can have a two hour pilot and a series if you get good ratings. I dont think the writers strike helped either.

Everything is behind and hold, do not forget there has been a long strike so all current shows are behind or messed up, heroes had to end volume 2 early and battlestar nearly did not get the 4th season

Im away this weekend, its on in the US Frida night I think.  Im going to be hunting down a wifi hotspot so I can LMI to home.

Just wanted to add at the end of season 3 - All Along The Watchtower (From Crossroads, Part 2) Bear McCrear the music in the walls and leading to the end - very good take on the song, like it and one of my favs of the soundtrack which I have (got all the season soundtracks)

I have all the soundtracks too, I love Passacaglia.
