the speed of my conection has plumited.... web pages dont load half the time... hitting F5 normaly loads them right away...

speed test gives me this...

it used to be 20+mb download and a little more on the upload (not sure how much tbh)

anyone else having problems with BE  ?

Pete

We got a be line;

0.05Mbs/0.05Mb/s - Down/Up

the 4 other lines in the same office all get 6-7mbps
I know sh*ts bad right now with all that starving bullsh*t and the dust storms and we are running out of french fries and burrito coverings.

Would give my left nut for those kind of speeds Knighty, but I can only suggest a call to CS to see if there is an issue?

knighty

yeah, Ill chuck them an email tomorrow

the problem isnt the speed, I still get 2m/bytes if i download big files... the problem is web pages dont load half the time, I can click 10 links to open in new tabs half of them will work and half wont.... totaly odd which ones work, 2 do, next 3 dont, next 3 do, etc. etc..

Im getting that quite a bit. got my MAC code though, think ill be using it.

how long has it been like that for you ?

my connection has been awesome since I got it (~2 years) super fast, mega low pings etc. etc...

not triend open dns - cant change the dns settings in the BE router...  Ill give it a try changing them on my computer and see what happens !

dns dies every so often, probly once a fortnight since about four or five months ago. however last couple of weeks its been every other day that a page will not load cos of a dns response not getting back.
