That'd be a county over here but I'm not sure we elect county wide representatives as you seem to. We'd vote for a local councillor who represents us at the county level too.

I'm not too hot on local politics though so could be wrong

I think its the same kind of thing, our county is broken up into wards & theres an elected representative for each ward, they then sit on the County Council.
My county for example has 64 elected members representing 42 wards (municipalities) that make up the county. Larger towns may have several elected members, while the more rural parts may only have 1 or 2 representing 5 or 6 villages similar to how you represent Kinda.

Getting an XPS 10 Today, so I'll compare it against my Acer A500.

Will be demoing an Asus Vivotab smart in the coming weeks.  That's a cheap Atom based Tablet which runs full Windows 8.

My Nephew got a 32gig Nexus 7 at Christmas and has been very happy with it and uses it daily at work and home since, I didn't get a proper look at it till last week and I have got to say it's a nice bit of kit for the money and went and bought one the next day.

I have been using a first gen Ipad as a mobile home media player for the last couple of years and it has served me well on that front ...but little more, however this is a far better device and can do everything my Galaxy X3 does for a fraction of the price. Plus has a far larger and more usable screen, but not being too large to stick in a coat pocket and getting everything synched and shareable on Google devices is stupidly easy these days.
