Saw this a few days ago and signed up on the website already been far too long since there was a battletech computer game so here's hoping its good, now just bring back mechcommander!

I just wish they'd bring out a Mechwarrior 2: Mercenaries remake.

Or at least, I wish they had done that when I still played games

Hmm something new today on Rock Paper Shotgun, not Mechwarrior online but Mechwarrior Tactics, could be a Facebook based, hex/turn based game

Apparently not Facebook based but it is going to be a browser game using the same engine as Battlestar Galactica Online.

Which should be good, means I can play it at work

Also great that there's two games and not just the one

Looks good, except I feel the cockpit should jump more with each footstep etc, it seems too "floaty" if you get my meaning

I'm liking the look of Mechwarrior Tactics as well. It essentially looks like a browser based version of MechCommander, which is pretty much fantastic as far as I can see.

Yeah its looking great, even more so if I can play it at work easily lol.

Mechcommander was awesome, still got my copies lying around and do go back to them every now and then, great fun.  Although they do become how many PPC's can I load into a mech at one time.
