well guys moving into my new uni house soon, they just severed their ties with nthell.
ive looked at pipex and tiscali.
what others would you guys reccomend?
Talk Talk isnt too bad so far but you have to sign up for 18 months.
Pipex or Zen Internet in my opinion :)
Will they let you have Cable? Telewest are doing the 3 for Ã,£15 student deal again. for Ã,£15 during term you get TV, 2Mb Broadband, and a phone with free weekend calls. I think they can tweak that a littlem, but you can also opt ot only pay Ã,£5 a month during summer if you are planning on being in the same place fo r2 years.
Whats the FUP on the tiscali Ã,£17.99 option?
My mate needs bb but its gotta be Ã,£18 or under..

knowing a good few folks who work there im refusing to recommend them to people. Makes me giggle when people complain about the length of time they take to provision a service. When its free dont complain if it sucks.
I was just being restrained on my verdict, two months solid 2mbits sec on a BT line.
Nice statement from them "up to 8mbits"...
TBH as I dont download that much stuff it works perfectly adequately and twice as fast as the old pipex connection for less. And my phonecalls/bill is thrown in too.
Providing they keep up the service Ill be pretty happy to leave it with them.
you can add ADSL2+ onto your sky for a tenner a month. I know Im going to when I move house, as the 30 notes a month Im paying zen for a 1Mb connection is appalling.
