whats the best torrent software to use?
The 2 most popular are uTorrent and Azureus. Azureus has loads more features, but can be a bit heavy on resource usage. uTorrent is smaller and lighter, but with less funky features, though it still has pretty much everything youll need.
Indeed I use Azureus for all my freeware downloading.
uTorrent, without question or exception.
uTorrent, it does everything well and doesnt slow your system down at all - azureus generally gets slower and slower, and hogs more memory if you leave it open for long periods at a time.
