Im looking for some books to help me get to grips with the following:

ADA95,
Hibernate, JBOSS, any other J2EE Frameworks (Struts and Spring are two more I think)
C++

Need to get hold of some learning materials as in work im between projects so as the old saying goes "use it or lose it"... also never done ADA previously so completely lost as to whats good in that arena.

If anyone deals with security & web apps in particular, and can spare a few moments Id also appreciate a guiding hand with that also, would appreciate someone with the know-how giving me a few pointers as to where to look for info. I could ask in work, but well... as I am considering going up to them and saying "hey there... any projects?" I dont want to do so without some ammunition of my own, or at least being able to answer their questions.

Is the "exposed" series of books any good for this? I am not looking for hand holding here, but rather doing research into a topic I know something about, but not enough to be confident in my abilities in an interview arena.

Anything published by OReilly is generally a good place to start.

If they have a number of books youre interested in then it might be worth paying for a Safari account.

12quid a month and access to all the books you could need :)

Rich, for your C++ needs and Java/JBOSS etc look at the Deitel and Deitel books. Good books if you are wanting to pick up and learn the basics to the more advanced methods. They may also do a book on your ANA95. The usual places have their books, Amamzon.co.uk and Compman.co.uk

I prefer to use Computer Manuals myself as they are a lot cheaper than amazon.
