If I am up early for some reason Ill normally do what I normally do for tv viewing. Scan the following channels.

Sky One
Sky Plus
Discovery channels (all the set)
Adventure Channel
Movies
BBC 1 and 2.

And repeat ad infinitum until something interesting comes on.
