Unfortunatley I cannot find any online links, so I cannot share these with anyone who doesnt get ITV (I guess).
Anyway these adverts are quite possibly the best adverts I have seen in ages, I think I have actually laughed at every single one of them so far !
"Any idea what a Nutmeg is ?"
"What about a Textbook Shimmy ?"
:D
Their ads are always great, shame the beer isnt. What I find amusing is "Bud Light" which the worst swill and best selling beer in the US. Regular Bud is fairly tasteless, but nooo, you need an even lighter version. :gag:
For a bottled Larger Bud isnt all bad, Im a Miller drinker but if thats not avalible I go for either a Bud or a Corona (yes, with lime) :p
I used to drink Boddingtons, Murphys and Guiness but after sticking on 2 stone in weight over my first year at uni, I decided that drinking gnats piss was probably a better option :)
I am trying to find some links to these adverts as they are just too funny. Theyre not cinematic feats of genius by any means; they feature 2 comentators in "the studio". Its their scripts that are the work of comedy :)

So thats why you drink gnats piss (aka yankee bud) :D
TBH Bud stinks :gag: :disappointed:
Adverts are good but they need to be to sell the stuff ;)
If youre gonna drink crap American beer, at least be stylish about it. Be a redneck and drink some Pabst Blue Ribbon tall-boys, or even better--get two six packs of Schmidt in the bass and elk versions, then argue drunkenly that one is better. "Bass flavor!" "Elk flavor!" Thats what we used to do on the west coast at least.
They all take the piss out of americans very well.
americans cannot make beer, they cannot make decents cars AND that cant invent decent spors, either, for that matter.. END OF. 8)
I like the one where he is reading Page 3, Jenny 18 of wenslydale thinks they will do well.

Come and visit some time. Every city has at least one proper microbrewery these days making world class beer, mine has five. Baseball is probably the most wonderful sport for a summer evening--if you see it live, as its horrible on TV. There are plenty of quite OK American cars these days, its just that the industry flogs chassis on frame SUVs as passenger cars. Heck, even the new all American
Impala with a V8 gets better fuel economy than a VW Passat. You get the idea. Americans are capable of building and brewing good stuff, but when idustry gets lazy and complacent, you get the
K-car and Budweiser. :P
Saturn, based an hour away from me, is building
these hot little mammas. 8)

i was just fishing then, ;) ive never tried any american brews cept the pure evil that is Miller and Bud... its literally like piss...
There are plenty of good wholesome American beers but their corporates tend to only export the horse pee...
We get stale Heineken and Guinness stateside. It goes both ways. Local beer is always best, as its the freshest. ;)
