Thoughts on coldplays new album please.
Yes and Strawberry Swing are awesome tracks.

Non coldplay fans will prolly hate it.

Its okay, a bit short IMO - and very samey across some of the tracks - but I guess thats typical fare. I thought it was going to be more promising from Life in Technicolor. Violet Hill is definitely growing on me.

I agree with you Sam, Yes is a standout track.

Its ok so far, cant say Im overly convinced.

Lost is probably standout track for me so far.

Ive got a few Coldplay tracks on my mp3 player and Viva La Vida has become another permanent addition, its a very catchy tune.

Just listening to the Japanese release of the album which has an additional track called "Lost?" in addition to the other track labelled "Lost!" (minor differences).


Listened to it a few times, first time I was running around the office so didnt really take it all in. Have to admit quite a few of the tracks have grown on me pretty fast.

The following are standing out for me now;

1. Life In Technicolor
3. Lost!
6. Yes
7. Viva La Vida
9. Strawberry Swing
10. Death And All His Friends
11. Lost?

Anyone going watching them live?  Ive got tickets for both nights in Manchester... and I havent listened to the new album yet.  :-/

I just paid $95 to see them in philly july 25th.

I got the cheapest seats though, did you get better ones? I could have easily spent double that but I already have tickets for the killers too.
