nobody seems to have noticed

THIS ISNT A WESTWOOD GAME!!!

EA WILL RUIN IT!!!

unless they manage to pull of a miracle this game will have a fantastic game engine but will have crap all story or in-depth gameplay.

sorry, i just hate ea and dont trust them to make a good c&c game

Some of the original team still work for EA, others moved on. Effectively it is an EA production.

Generals was by no margin a bad game, but it was certainly no Red Alert 2, the best C&C game to date imo.

Although I dont have that much faith in EA these days I do believe that they can have the pride to produce a game that they can be proud of, and carry on a game brand name that has so much history.

The initial signs are very promising.

tis ok, but they just made it a bit too epic, the scale of the game went beyond what was possible to produce in the time. The company needed a release.

They are definately trying to improve the rts genre, unlike ea who made generals which was a graphics engine with minimal gameplay

They will be using the SAGE engine again for this one again. One similar to the one they used for Battle For Middle Earth RTS.

I was supprised how much it reminded me of C&C. TBH I didnt like it so I didnt buy a copy. Could have been so much better with 3D space warfare similar to Xwing, Tie Fighter, etc. with stratergy and optional piloting.
