Post by: M3ta7h3ad on October 03, 2006, 22:37:46 PM
Im looking for an electronic piano, or a keyboard at least with weighted keys (as piano like as possible) for well as little as possible.

But googling just results in masses of confusion, so folks.. im looking to you :)

Send me your linkies! :D

I havent come accross one electric piano that has weighted keys that feel anything like a piano.  Close, but nothing like actual keys and the rest.  The best ones avaialable iirc for the money are technics atm.

I highly recommend you actually go to a music shop and try something out before jumping to internet retailers.

Not electric, but piano related.

My dad went the a furniture auction where he bought a walnut piano for Ã,£2.50

No one else bidded, he wasnt looking for one but for Ã,£2.50 why not!

I have one, my parents are selling it.

I do not have enough room for a real piano neither can it be a "two person move" job, I want one I can chuck on a stand, or chuck in the back of a car to move back home at christmas, without needing to cough up more dosh to retune the thing, also the temperature in my room goes from boiling hot and humid, to dry and freezing cold, so not ideal for a piano to hold its tuning.

I dont want fancy fancy notes, I dont even want midi really, I just want a one sound (piano) with graded hammer action or weighted keys.

Ill ask my music lecturer (who is also a bloody amazing pianist) about weighted electric keyboards on monday for you :)

If you can find anything on dolphinmusic.co.uk, that place is definately recommended! I get all my gear from there and theyre fantastic :)
