I currently run the following setup:

AMD Athlon X2 4600+
Abit KN9S
Corsair 2GB PC6400 DDR2 Memory
XFX 7600GT XXX
Enhance 380W PSU

I was considering changing upgrading to the following

AMD Athlon X2 6000+
nVidia 8800GT 512MB
Corsair VX550W

I know for sure the new Core2Quad, Core2Duo will outperform the AMD processor, but im thinking if i change the processor i can use the same motherboard, ive really not had enough use out of this board to justify another upgrade.

But i have considered an Intel processor setup, i do like the look of the Core2Duo 6850 3Ghz, the performance of it is great, and i really cant think why i would need 4 cores in total.

So im in a predicament, go for the uprated Athlon, 8800 and Corsair PSU or completely swap the system for an Intel rig, really cant decide here, what do you guys/gals think

Cmon Maldonado

Link me a setup from an online store :P

Processor
Motherboard
Memory (possible for ddr2 support?)
Videocard (standard 8800gt would suit me)

Motherboard can be cheap as possible, prefer abit, asus, msi.
