You are washed up on a desert Island, there is plenty of food and water but no other people and no way of summoning help. As luck has it your solar powered CD player and pouch containing 8 CDs come ashore and still works.

Which CDs would yours contain?

You also find a copy of the Koran, Bible and a third book (your choice) with a luxury item. Unfortunately this cant link you to the internet or be a method of communication out.

Id save the Bible and Koran for emergency fire tinder, it gets very cold in the desert at night. The book would have to be a copy of the Exeter Book so I could spend all of my free time translating them and pondering their meanings.

The CDs would be Bal-Sagoth "Battle Magic", Elgar "Variations On Enigma", "Transformers the Movie soundtrack", The Meads of Asphodel "Damascus Steel", Richard Wagner "Die Walkure part IV", Gary Numan "Scarred", Basil Poledouris "Conan the Barbarian" and Bear McCreary, "BSG Season 2".

Luxury item : Solar powered satellite phone.

At the moment that is. These things are in a constant state of flux with me.

How  could one survive on a desert island  with only one genre   of  music w/o going nuts?? Maybe its UK thang. Much as I love the punk of me teen years, the Ramones would never  make the short list of music Id want to listen to for eternity.
