anyone know what deviceemulator.exe does ?

googling isnt giving me much info... mostly sales blab

it runs at startup, takes ~30 CPU time (amd 5200x2) and I can hear my HDs working away hard (5 drives in raid 0)

makes a few other things lag etc.... end tasking it doesnt seam to cause any problems...

Full virus/spyware scans reveal anything?

*edit - Seems to be something to do with phones with MS based software. Got a new mobile for Christmas?  

all virus/spyware/etc. scans are clean...

and nope... no mobile etc.. stuff installed on here at all

plus... its been doing it for months


going to re-install soon anyway.... Im just curious

Its a pocket pc emulator - used it extensively in my old job

good... means I can del it and see what happens
