I've just put some scope options into DHCP on a 2008 R2 server for some Mitel phones cos the phone guys said they were required;

Option 3 router address - 192.168.0.1
Option 128 TFTP server address - 192.168.0.200
Option 129 RTC address - 192.168.0.200
Option 130 ASCII String MITEL IP PHONE

128 through 130 weren't in the options originally so I added them in under "set predefined options" on the DHCP server.

Anyway, it still isn't working apparently - what am I missing? I dkj about IP phones  :-\

I haven't put in anything for these two because the phones aren't on a seperate VLAN:
Option 132 VLAN ID HEX numeric e.g 6 (optional)
Option 133 Priority HEX numeric normally 6 (optional)

Do they need to be in Server Options rather than Scope Options?
I know sh*ts bad right now with all that starving bullsh*t and the dust storms and we are running out of french fries and burrito coverings.

Is it a Mitel 3300 by any chance?

I have a document on this for this lying around at work, I've had to set this up before.   I'm sure there quite a few more scope options than that that you have to feed to the phones.

That being said, I've jumped onto the remote server in question, an SBS 2008 server, I have 132 and 133 defined even though is not a VLAN.
