Title: Films that have made you think "I want my 90 minutes back!"
Post by: jamieL on January 08, 2008, 00:23:07 AM
Well I know I personally have come out of a cinema or finished watching a film and thought to myself "What a complete waste of time. I want my 90 minutes back that I wasted on that heap of rubbish!"

So what films have made you think this?

My most recent was the new American Pie. "American Pie: Beta House".

I dont think its out in the cinema. I wonder why..

Its basically about Stiflers little brothers little cousin. Who goes to college and looks up to stiflers little brother to join a frat house.

Why I watched it? My brother had it downloaded.. And curiosity killed the cat.

So whats yours?

28 Days Later springs to mind. Thats possibly the most recent film that Ive felt like Ive really wasted my money. The Golden Compass came a close second. (Again Im talking recently, Im sure there have been many more but they just elude me at the moment).

Have to mention Stealth for being both the biggest waste of time and the biggest box office flop ever. Castaway was a bit naff, as was The Terminal, both of which made me think Id really wasted my time watching them. Flightplan was pretty atrocious as well.

House of 1000 Corpses and Party Monster.  Hate Napoleon Dynamite too.  Its just NOT FUNNY.

Then youve got House of flying daggers and all the LOTR and POTC ones too.

I forgot the Pirates of the Caribbean movies. 2,1,3 for watchability, although every single one was both a waste of time and money.
