Does it install on top of 1.5.0.7 without destroying anything ?

Serious

RC3 did work without problem.

Chanser

Installed version 2.0 over my old Firefox no problems.

I dont like the cut of its gib any more, Im going to let Sam install it then see how it goes for him  :P In the mean time Ill stick with 1.5.0.7

Sam

The final is no buggier than 1.5. So basically it still crashses.

Serious

Spell checker does seem to work when doing the posts on the forum, gives a red line under misspelt words.

You might have to install a dictionary though, right click in the text area when posting, select add dictionaries and go look for the one you want, usually English United Kingdom.

Has not crashed once for me

bear

1.5 have never crashed on my machines.

Sam

I use firefox all day long and I do use my system hard for development of sites and firefox crashes way more than IE ever did. But ff is just nicer so I use it.

Mark

Same story with my developers too

Serious

I get about equal crashes between the two, perhaps a few more on IE, so far none on FF2 but Im just waiting for the first.

You might have to install a dictionary, Check Tools/addons/extensions to see if you have a dictionary installed, if not right click in the text area when posting, select add dictionaries and go look for the one you want, usually English United Kingdom.

Then Tools/Options/advanced/general and make sure the Check my spelling as I type option is ticked.
