Seems there was some critical bugs in RC1 so they decided they needed another go at it.

I installed RC1 and it stopped hotmail remembering my account name, affected 2.0.14 too so Ive had to reinstall that  .

Had other issues in RC1 but not had any flash related ones and I cant see many reported that are actually FF related.

You are aware of the security flaw found earlier in the year and now being exploited through flash if you have anything below the latest version?
Youtube had to update some elements to prevent people uploading videos that would sit through the exploit and with the update older flash runs a bit funny until updated also.

WOW, just updated and images are rendered a lot better, look really sharp over rc1 and ff3 is even faster then it was on my machine, WOW. When this is all ready for a full release it is going to blow everything else out of the water

Dont worry I have the same problems as you have Liam, flash and javascript sites gradually eat all my memory and slow Firefox down. Im hoping this new version will fix a lot of these issues though.

I went back to version 2.0.0.14 again on my laptop and an 15 minutes later it says it was downloading a new update for 2.0.0.14?!?!, anyway after the update had finished and i had restarted Firefox it seemed to have fixed the memory issue now and it runs perfectly fine when viewing flash videos! The only thing i noticed changes with the versions is the copyright section - on the old one it said "1998-2006" and on the new one "1998-2008".

I would have a check or a fresh install as well maybe nige, You guys may have not got the update or an update properly? if what Liam says happened.

I would try backing up your profile, uninstalling, getting the latest version and re-installing see what that does

Everybody type "about:robots" into the Awesomebar (url bar). The earth will stand still (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gort_(The_Day_the_Earth_Stood_Still)) for you. 8-)

Cool easter egg, huh? :)
