Just noticed the update for al the FF users out there
http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/releases/1.5.0.5.html
mine auto updated. Im hoping the memory leak has finally been fixed like they keep saying it has, so it wont crash all the time.
Woohoo.
Firefox crashes and sessionsaver reloads an old page, updates the content and removes 4 hours of work by reloading an old session.
POS is getting uninstalled.
session saver is ace.
1.5.0.6 is out now too.
This release seems to be suspiciously soon after 1.5.0.5. Methinks some sort of bug in the .5 update?
updated and working fine for me (always has :))
same, only problem I have ever had after the patch that had the leak 1.1 was it? has been just small things.

Not if you go on sites with forms it appears. Fecking thing!
Firefox has been on the slippery slope since they first introduced the moving tabs. Not stable at all IMO.
Running 1.5.0.5 here and its the rock of Gibraltar. Amazing considering all of the transexual Brazilian midget sites I peruse.
It was slowing down a while back, just a bit, so I back up my cookies and bookmarks, made a fresh profile, and it got right up to speed again.
Clean house, I say.
The only extension I ever installed was that sessionsaver. It lasted a whopping day.
Its just not stable with the quantity of tabs and java rich sites I use. The java support is dire.
The Brits arent known for their coffee.

Thanks Ill get that :)
Java is not the problem here, unfortunately. JRE is stable, its how Firefox interacts with it that causes problems. :(
