Get your RC now !!! Get a stable, secure desktop OS (Thats one that doesnt save the install user password in plain text) with all the options on 3 CDs

3 cds! aww ffs... windows comes on 1 cd, lots of linux come on 1 cd, and I bet if mac OSX was released... thatd come on one cd too (although it would be the prettiest cd ever known to man kind, however would have a crap build quality and scratch easily when placed into its iCdCarryCase).

Multi cd installs do my head in :(

Fixed a long time ago. though it still seems to come up everytime BSD is mentioned  :roll:

my os 9.2 install cd is great. i accidentally used it as a coaster for 4 months till i needed it :)

Well you can install from 1cd if you dont need all the options - and if you want REALLY small theres Pico BSD

Whats that os that fitted on a floppy? cant friggin remember it  :(

if its small you want, I use ELK linux. Ive used it on everything from 286s to my current beast. :) no X however :) and very very few tools. :)

But its very very limited and theyve also removed the handy links to stuff, something tells me its now defunct. They used to have a site from which you could download other floppy images to install bits. Worked fine in a 286 with 2mb ram. :)
