My 7800gtx doesn't run when it's got the power connector plugged into it any more.

Maybe it's my PSU, maybe it's my GFX card. Whatever.

I'm gonna get a new card but I want one that's ballpark 7800gtx speed but doesn't make lots of noise and is off of this list?

9800GTX+ with some kind of fanless heatpipe cooler? Its the fastest card on the list i believe.

Did get a 4850 working Ok on  the same mobo , had to use old drivers to get stability.
