Some things are best left in the past, this was never really that great tbh, maybe they will improve it, who knows?

Thing is it did not work without old boldie there when they had the other guy, he was crap.
Who would you have presenting it now?

Fort boy... Just kidding, they should bring back the krypton Factor

matt5cott

Ed Tudor Pole was good, he just wasnt as good as Richard OBrien, he had too much to live up to unfortunately and got panned somewhat, unfairly if you ask me. If you go back and watch the re-runs on Challenge no one seems to have a biased towards him as much and it makes for good viewing 8-)

Not sure who I would have presenting mind, good point!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vwxCJSXWCaA <- still, you cant beat classics like that.

zpyder

Haha, when she falls in as she tries to get out is classic.

Good old crysal maze. Its like football and stuff, you end up shouting at the tv as you think you know better...well...unlike football I think most people do know better...

Your right, I think one of the things that killed it was the fact they got dummer and dummer teams in to keep the money so they would not give out what was always even at the time naff prizes tbh anyway. People including myself just got so pissed off with how thick they were far to often.
Hard games with average folk will do fine, not fairly easy puzzles and thick people from the land of stupid

GOING FOR GOLD
The heat is on, the time is right, blablablabla bla bla bla bla bla
were going for going for gold

zpyder

Can anyone remember the game shows that were inspired by Crystal Maze? The one that comes to mind was called "Scavengers" or something. It was set on a space station and had two teams of people trying to salvage things off a space station. Featured more physical challenges though?

And what about the kids one...Sub-Zero or something. That had a group of kids that had to do something in some tower and there were chess type puzzles and allsorts?

Anf who can forget fun-house or mad-house...whatever it was that had Pat Sharp in it...

Knightmare the king of all kids puzzle game shows.
