If I turn off a group policy on the server the desktops it applies to should revert to standard settings, i.e. go back to how they were before, right?

Wont be as easy as that as every change made by the policy will have been saved in users profiles i fear.

The only successful way I've found to undo group policy is a fresh install.

I put all the options back to not configured and it worked ok..
