QuoteIt's fair to say that we still have a lot of work to do to extend our appeal into the non-hardcore space, but our aspiration is absolutely to attract those people. That's why we spent the majority of our briefing on service features and on content that will appeal to a broader audience.

IMO: Basically, MS are trying to be all things to all people and failing, whilst theyll only ever really appeal to the core gamers who want the AAA titles;
The Mass Effects, The Fables, The Halos. The Wii60 road theyre heading down will ultimately end up disappointing a lot of people.

I dunno. I have a 360 and a Wii, my sis has recently got a 360. I think she might in the future get a Wii too, but if MS pulls this off, I can see her being more happy sticking with the 360...

I do not think they are failing, It is still a little bit to polish up the interface but I think it looks really good. Not only have you got the hardcore elements and to jump into things seems good and the hardrive feature will certainly help with the noise. And then having elements and games more for the wii folk and I am sure that ms remote will come and probably not done so at E3 being not quite ready but you can see the games are coming to support it.
