episode 1 won game of the year, I can see why.
Orange Box on the whole was a triumph, a huge success. Its really hard to overstate my satisfaction.
But I never got any cake. :(

I had to go out and buy some at the end of Portal to make myself feel better!
I wish I could play it, the Car and Helicopter scenes look hectic.
I really want to play EP2, but dont want any of the other gubbins in Orange Box.
I enjoyed it but couldnt get the gnome through to the rocket :(

Aww dude Portal is worth the money alone! TF2 is great too.

It is, especially with the damn helecopter chasing you. It was good to give it some of its own medicine back.

Agreed, OTOH I went through it in a few hours, split up of course. I think they are going to be available as separates, though they will be more far expensive collectively than buying the orange box.

You mean you never finished or you didnt buy any?
The whole course is possible, all you have to do is work it out. Think accountant, pencil, constipation and work it out... ;)
You can buy the games seperate now, I saw them in Game last week. They now sell Portal and Team Fortress 2 as seperates and then there is the Half-Life 2 Episode collection that has both Episodes 1 and 2, although the episode collection does cost £20 and the Orange Box is only £27 on their website.
this scene looks great.

I played half life 2 orange box on the 360 after I played bioshock, and I was thoroughly disappointed.
Its still good though.
Grass grows
Birds Fly
Sun Shines
And Brotha...
I hurt people. (http://www.gametrailers.com/player/33024.html?type=flv)
Meet the soldier is still my favourite though. :)

The Advanced map cake achievements, I can only do one Advanced map so far. :(
Ive managed to do all six, some of them are real tough though.
Ive done the first challenge limited gates mission in seven gates, but its supposedly possible in five?
Just got the OB ive not played anything other than Poirtal yet (too much COD4) but plan on starting on HL2 this weekend.
Oh and Portal is awesome short but awesome.

You fool! As said above portal is worth it alone. Plus before I came to Oz I saw Orange Box on offer for 20 quid so Im sure you can pick it up cheaply. I pre-ordered it off steam as soon as possible (you got TF2 a few weeks eariler) and becuase I already owned HL2 and EP1 they have me 2 vouchers to give those games to someone else :)
I loved EP2 (As much as I loved HL1, HL2, EP1) and I cant wait for EP3! Hopefully Ill be in a position to be able to play it, some-one has to have some computer I can steal for a few hours.
I played the first slice demo type thing of portal, and after 15 minutes wondered what all the fuss was about. :?
*edit - where has the dunno smilie gone?
: shrug:
Its on the more smilies popup.
I spent 5 minutes staring at those, must have missed it :?
Thats because you cant see the arms on it ;) Its to the right of :rage:
