Unfortunately, that will never happen.  Eidos bought my SCi, and they are now going down the pan after losing £29m or $29m recently and open to being bought up.

Agreed, tried it again this weekend, it crashed after about 2 hours play anyway, wont be bothering with it again tbh.

Its not going to be the best out there but all the scenery looks great and acts well and the lighting and looks great and when your walking with a big gun the characters look great and it is very close to looking as good as mass effect and that is apparently set to be the most amazing in terms of graphics so far of the next gen consoles

It is a bit of a given a game set under water and where the developers in interviews said one of the first graphical elements they created first and continued to work on all the way through the development being the water that the under water game would have nice water effects But halo 3 water is far from crap

This is multiplayer beta which has graphics turned down compared to single player for better running over the net

Some wont like the game and that is fair enough and it is not and wont be the best looking game out there but to say it looks crap and the water for example looks crap is talking a bit of bullcrap.

Bioshock is an inclosed game and as such you can do a more with the graphics, Halo 3 is no slouch in its graphics but is a lot more open with a lot more going on, when you run theatre you can go to all of the locations and most are massive and everything is moving and running and Every thing in the air etc is a model and able to be destroyed.
You cant reach them but the massive ships in the air will take damage apparently and you can shoot anything else out the sky and on legendary with 4 people and just a ton of mobs no lag or slow down

Very different games and a bit daft trying to compare them in that way

gameplay > graphics first thing and I like halo 3 but some do not true

But they are different, FPS yes but one take doom 3 looked amazing but it can be because it is all enclosed and the engine was shown to be sh*te on outdoor and no one used it for that reason.
Halo 3 has massive outdoor environments and is has Hardly any load time compared to like bioshock with a few hefty ones and still is no slouch in the visuals
No question it is not the nicest looking out there but blizzard have gone for emersive, replay value, smooth gameplay etc and it still looks really good on a good hd lcd and as you said in regard to not as good as dx5 games that was harsh and untrue which is the another point.

Stating graphics not as good as they could have been would be a fair comment, some love the game a few are disappointed, some feel the single player is to short and that would also be fair to say But how you put it was very much over the top and in terms of your graphics opinion wrong and harsh

I wouldnt say it looks terrible, and the way Bungie went about HDR is pretty interesting.

its my opinion, and i think the graphics look dreadful for an xbox 360

they look dated.

May main beef with the game tbh is the fact that its BORING! the chap who I work with has come to the same conclusion, hes also stopped playing his.

Took my limited edition halo console back today, im a bit annoyed as it looks fantastic, but the fact that some have 65nm technology, and mine doesnt just wound me up, so back it went!
